Children maybe already looked after but may need to move from their current placement for a particular reason. Some children may be being removed from home for the first time and becoming ‘looked after’.  In every situation children will need a sensitive welcome into a foster home and  understanding of the distress they will be feeling by being separated from their family of from familiar adults. Caritas arranges fostering for the full age range of children and particularly seeks families who can care for older children or for brothers and sisters together.
